"To Boldly go where No Man Has Gone Before"
Plot:
According to an alleged treatment for the movie that recently appeared on the web, the action of the next Trek feature brings the Enterprise crew to a planet in the Briar Patch, a sector of space packed with anomalies. The world is home to the Bak'u, a group of 600 individuals who live happily in seclusion. A group of advanced aliens allied with Federation Admiral Matthew Dougherty, the Son'a, have learned that the Bak'u world retains a unique quality which slows down and sometimes reverses the aging process. When Picard learns Ru'afo, the leader of the Son'a, plans to extract the mystical property from the Bak'u planet in order to save his dying species, Jean-Luc is forced to choose between the rights of the innocent Bak'u and those of the perishing Son'a. Meanwhile, Ru'afo hatches his own schemes to secure the planet's properties with or without the Federation's approval.
